How does using a debit card affect your credit rating versus a credit card?

when both card uses either the Mastercard or Visa symbol? Sometimes when making purchases there is not a debit card listed as a choice but the credit card choice is shown. You can only use a debit card when funds are in your account. The credit card shows the purchaser has agreed to pay in full or to make payments to the creditor on the merchandise purchased.|||This debit card is attached to your checking account.


It does nothing for your credit.


It makes no difference if you choose credit or debit...|||Debit cards don't affect credit unless you go overdraft.|||A debit card does NOT affect your credit rating regardless of how you run the purchase at the POS.
