What to do when someone uses your debit card with out permission?

My woman friend is hung up in a relationship she wants out of. The man she is sharing his house with has been making purchases with her child support debit card. With out her knowing about it and definately without her authorization. They are not married, nor have they made any public statements about common-law. She is not even sleeping with him and has her own bedroom. She found a printout of her card activity and the purchases he has made. What does she need to do about this?|||She needs to report unauthorized use to the card company, and call the cops. The guy using it is committing fraud.

She should also keep closer control over the card|||She needs to call the police and press charges for fraud. Anything less and they will view the activity as allowed since she knew about it and did not pursue it.|||Technically it is theft, but the Police 9 times out of 10 wont report it. (you can try though)

Dispute it with the bank/building society.|||2 options:

Press charges.

or

Go to the bank and change the card, numbers and PIN.

Option 3 - shoot the basta***|||report it and also change the security code|||keep the evidence, phone the police.
