How does it work when using a debit card at a restaurant?

First of all, can I assume that most restaurants will accept a MasterCard debit card? also, how is the tip calculated in?





i just started using a debit card recently.|||Works exactly like a credit card, it doesnt calculate tip, and there is no fee...|||Never use a debit card in a restaurant because once they walk away with it, they can make a copy and then have a card made. Either use a regular Visa/MasterCard or pay cash.|||Just give them the card when its time to pay. When they return with the receipt there is a part where you can add tip and they will take it from your account. no fee
