I checked my debit statement online today and apparently around ten transactions occured each about $40 a pop...I called the bank and had the card cancelled and said to dispute when they clear but how does this happen when I only buy things on amazon and never use my debit card for in-person purchases except for gas? This is blowing my mind right now.|||Somehow, somewhere, someone got your card number, probably by using a skimmer on a gas pump.

It's also possible that your card information was taken from within your computer by malware called a Zeus banking trojan.
